Houston, Texas – July 27, 2023 – American Infrastructure Group, Inc. (“AIGI”) is pleased to announce that Patriot Drone Operators, LLC, (“Patriot”), an affiliate of AIGI, has been certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Company (“SDVOSB”) by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Certification allows SDVOSB firms the opportunity to compete for sole-source and set-aside contracts across the federal governments. The federal government aims to award at least 3% of all federal contracting dollars to SDVOSBs each year.
AIGI owns 49% of Patriot with the majority ownership held by Peter Quinn, a disabled veteran who had this to say, “Receiving the SDVOSB certification is a critical first step in the growth of Patriot. We have already begun preparations to compete in the government marketplace.”
Patriot will be competing for government contracts in its areas of core competency:
Drone Operations:
- We offer drone operations for infrastructure inspections, building inspections, electrical transmission line inspections, and other types of inspections.
Data Management:
- We utilize artificial intelligence algorithms to process thousands of data images or readings in less time and with a higher degree of quality control than manual methods.
Drone and Drone Accessories Sales:
- We can supply drones, drone accessories, batteries, and other drone related items.
Drone Training and Consulting:
- We offer drone pilot training and consulting for those considering starting a drone operation in their agency. We will also manage your drone operations.
