(“AIGI”), a leading player in the field of innovative infrastructure solutions, is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking contract win in partnership with wholly owned subsidiary, 1UP Aerial Drone Services (“1UP”). This landmark agreement is set to transform the construction landscape and promises to be a milestone for the company.
This contract was executed with Lawrence Construction who is developing the I-70 Picadilly Interchange project in Aurora, Colorado, representing a pivotal moment for AIGI and 1UP The 24-month agreement includes the delivery of a wide range of services crucial to the project’s success.

Under the terms of the contract, 1UP will provide:
- Preconstruction “Digital Twins”: A comprehensive digital representation of the entire construction site, combined with 360-degree panoramic views at three key areas of interest identified by Lawrence Construction Co..
- Monthly Construction Progress Reporting: Regular aerial flights will capture construction progress, ensuring safety compliance, asset management, and overall site progress reporting. This data will facilitate effective communication with key stakeholders, including Lawrence Construction Co., RS&H Inc., and the City of Aurora CO.
- Surveying and Measurements: Collaborating with a surveyor, 1UP will conduct periodic measurements of cut, fill, volume, and “as-built” calculations for stockpiles and other construction materials across the vast 325-acre site.
The I-70 Picadilly Interchange project is in total a $70 million project; Lawrence Construction Co. and the design partner, RS&H Inc., signed contracts with the City of Aurora in January 2023 and began the final design for the diverging diamond interchange on I-70 at Picadilly Road. The project is designed to enhance north-south connectivity on Picadilly and provide local access to I-70, addressing the needs of the growing development in the area. This interchange will support freight commerce, alleviate congestion, and bolster safety measures.
